Just now as I was putting you to bed.

Mama: I know Everett's favorite color is…
Everett: blue!
M: And Everett's favorite number is…
E: 3!
M: And when Everett grows up he wants to be…
E: a sister!
M: You are going to be a sister?  No.  What do you want to do for work when you grow up?
E: I'm gonna work on my computer.
M: Your computer?  What are you going to do on your computer?
E: Watch videos!
M: Oh, are you going to make movies when you grow up?
E: Yes, and all of you are going to come visit me at my work.
M: We are?  Okay, all of us will go visit you.  What will we do there?
E: Eat one of my snacks.
M: (laughing) We are going to eat your snacks?  Okay.
E: And you will go in my elevator to meet me.  You get to push the button (tapping me on the shoulder)

I can't wait, buddy.  Well, I CAN wait.  Don't grow too fast.

I just put you to bed and as I was lowering you into the crib, I said, "sweet dreams to my best boy."  You whispered, "sweet dreams to my best girl."  :) xoxo
*not the first time you have referred to me as your best girl after I say you are my best boy, but first time like this.  Melting.

You were heading out of your room to start your day and called downstairs, "Emily, I am coming to listen to Anna and Elsa!  Emily!  I am coming downstairs to listen to Anna and Elsa.  (short pause, silence)  Why are you not talking to me, Emily?!"
