Today we drove around to 3 neighbors' houses trying to find the owners of some extension cords that were borrowed for movie night in the park last night. As we left the 3rd house still with all of the cords you said we couldn't go to everyone's houses because "if we have to drive around to everyone's houses to ask it would take all day!"  Then you asked if the "Merlot's ummm, Venice's, (pause) their family" were at the party. When I said that they weren't at the park you said, "then we wouldn't have to go to their house because the cords couldn't be theirs."
